Dr. Charlie Hobbs

Charlie Hobbs is President and Chairman of the Board of AdTec. He has been actively involved in education for 37 years holding positions in five different school corporations from classroom teacher to superintendent of schools. He has earned two degrees from Butler University, his advanced degree from Purdue University, and teaches for Indiana Wesleyan University in their Educational Leadership Program. A major focus of his career has been providing the human, financial, and physical resources to support local educational programs. He has been recognized by state, national, and international organizations for his educational leadership.

Marilyn Hobbs

Marilyn Hobbs has been employed by AdTec since 1997. Her time is divided between Capital Assets Inventory and E-Rate Consulting. She has earned two degrees in education from Butler University and has taught music in both public and parochial schools.

Jerry Allen

Jerry Allen is an E-Rate Consultant with AdTec. He was involved in public education for 37 years holding several positions from classroom teacher to director of educational technology before retiring. He has two degrees in education from Ball State University, and has completed the licensure requirements to be an administrator at both the elementary and secondary levels. A major focus of his career has been the development and implementation of teaching strategies that translated classroom learning into real world learning.

Sally Baumer

Sally Baumer has been an E-Rate Consultant with AdTec since 2005.  She has served as a member of her local School Board of Trustees for 16 years acquiring an appreciation for the complexities of school budgets and finance. She is also a Licensed Dental Hygienist, having graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry.

Darsey Carnal

Darsey Carnal, as an E-Rate Consultant, has aided school districts in their quest for E-Rate funding since 2005. She has a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University. Past experiences with federal agencies and expertise in scheduling and project management give her a unique perspective on the Universal Services Administrative Corporation and its processes which she uses to smooth her clients' paths to funding.

Judy Carnal

Judy Carnal, former owner and officer of AdTec, is currently enjoying her role as E-Rate Consultant. She received a bachelor's degree from Hartwick College and advanced degrees in Library Science from Long Island University and in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University. She spent 30 years in public education as a school library media specialist and as Director of Media and Technology. Her current focus is on providing E-Rate support to the consortia of the Indiana Department of Education and the Indiana State Library.

Tammy Condon

Tammy Condon joined the AdTec team as an E-rate Consultant in January, 2010. During the prior 12 years, she has worked in the telecommunications industry for two major vendors, providing excellent customer service and building solutions for her government and educational clients. The experience she gained from working with various clients and vendors on equipment, network, cellular, and billing provides added value to the AdTec team.

Diane Cormican

Diane Cormican is an E-Rate Consultant and Finance Manager of AdTec. She was employed by Belden, Inc. for 29 years, where she held several administrative positions. She and her husband are entrepreneurs and were owners of Glassworks, Inc. for 20 years, providing commercial, residential and automotive glass services with 13 employees. She managed the accounting/tax and personnel functions of the business. Her years of administrative, financial, and leadership experience provide her the resources to support local educational programs. She was recognized as ‘Administrative Professional of the Year' in 2003.

David Hobbs

David Hobbs is a member of the E-Rate Consultant Support Staff. He graduated from Taylor University with a degree in Business Management. Since graduation, he has worked overseas for a non-profit organization as a Business Manager, and currently in the states in the field of finance. His involvement with AdTec began in 2005.

Carol Ingram

Carol Ingram is a member of the E-Rate Consultant Support Staff. She graduated from Taylor University with a degree in Business. In the past 10 years her broad range of business expertise has come from working for a Fortune 500 company to non-profit management. She enjoys being part of the Adtec team because of the valuable work it does to support educational institutions across the nation.

Linda Lyness

Linda Lyness is an E-Rate Consultant. She earned degrees from Indiana State University and Ball State University, as well as specialty degrees in School Administration and Gifted Education from Indiana University and Purdue University. Linda gained first hand knowledge of the challenges schools face through her 27 years of active involvement not only as teacher, principal, program director, and School Improvement advisor, but also as a consultant for the Indiana Department of Education. She also supported schools with technology integration while working for a national educational software company. Duties included client relations, sales management, public speaking, new hire training and curriculum consulting.

Linda Sittloh

Linda Sittloh is an E-Rate Consultant. She was employed by Belden, Inc. for 32 years in the Human Resources department, implementing benefits and compensation plans. Her knowledge and experience translates well not only into the AdTec business of E-Rate funding, but also into the Capital Assets Ledger inventory work for school corporations.

Katy Smith

Katy Smith is an E-Rate Consultant with AdTec. She received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Taylor University and is currently obtaining her Masters in Education with an emphasis in Educational Technology from the University of Michigan. She has taught middle school for the past 5 years both in the U.S. and abroad. With her education and technology background, she is passionate about helping schools achieve their technology and financial needs.
